11 communities in the province of Venice, 2 in the province of Treviso, and 6 in the province of Pordenone are included in the DOC Lison-Pramaggiore. This DOC is part of the Veneto wine region, and it is worth noting that the Consorzio Vini Venezia plays a crucial role in promoting and preserving the rich heritage of these exceptional wines.
Due to the vineyards' flat terrain and the influence of various lagoon regions, this region enjoys a temperate temperature. Furthermore, breezes like the Scirocco or the Bora permit a higher thermal amplitude between day and night.
The soils in this DOC are distinguished by an alluvial calcium carbonate layer that is between 30 and 70 cm thick and a shallow clayey layer. The soils are rich in potassium, calcium, and magnesium and have good water retention.
