The DOC Delle Venezie covers the administrative regions of Venezia Euganea, Venezia Giulia and Venezia Tridentina, corresponding to Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Trentino-Alto Adige.

The climate in the region is cool and windy due to the alpine influence. This helps the wines to have good natural acidity, while the temperature variations between day and night help the wines to be more aromatic. In addition, the vineyards receive a good amount of rainfall.

The soils of this DOC are very old and were formed by the deposition of calcareous material, gravel and sand. In addition, the soils are characterized by good drainage.
