The Terre di Pisa DOC, located in the Tuscany wine region, covers the municipalities of Fauglia, Crespina, Lari, Chianni, Capannoni, Palaia, Pecdcioli, Terricciola, Cascina Terme, Ponsacco, Pontedera, Montipoli VA, San Miniato, Orciano Pisano, Lorenzana and Santa Luce in the province of Pisa.
The average rainfall of this region is not exceeding 780 mm and precipitation is concentrated during the winter. Regarding temperatures, they average 15°C during the winter and 24°C during the summer.
Regarding the Terre di Pisa DOC soils, they are mainly clayey and loamy.

The Terre di Pisa DOC region is renowned for its exquisite Rosso and Sangiovese wines, reflecting the perfect blend of tradition and innovation. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, these wines offer a sensory journey that encapsulates the essence of the terroir.
The Rosso wine, a harmonious fusion of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Syrah, and other authorized red grapes, showcases a minimum alcohol level of 12.5%. Its complexity is nurtured through a careful aging process of 16 months, including a significant 12 months in oak barrels followed by an additional 4 months in the bottle. This maturation imparts a rich depth of flavor and a captivating aroma, capturing the character of the region.
At the heart of Terre di Pisa DOC lies the Sangiovese wine, predominantly composed of at least 95% Sangiovese grapes along with other permitted red varieties. With a minimum alcohol content of 12.5%, this wine embodies the pure expression of Sangiovese, a hallmark of Italian viticulture. The aging process, which mirrors that of the Rosso, bestows the Sangiovese with a refined elegance and an irresistible bouquet that evolves over time.
