Grance Senesi’s diversity in soil and microclimate is the canvas for its varietal masterpieces. The reds of the region are often characterized by their robust flavors and intricate layers. Sangiovese, the iconic grape of Tuscany, claims its place here, lending its rich red fruit notes and tannic backbone to many of the DOC's cherished bottles. Accompanying it are other red powerhouses like the globally-acclaimed Cabernet Sauvignon, the dark and fruity Merlot, and Canaiolo Nero, a historic variety which often adds softness and aromatic depth.
On the white side of the spectrum, Grance Senesi showcases Malvasia and Trebbiano – two grapes that together craft wines with vibrant acidity and delicate floral aromas. The Grance Senesi DOC is part of the Tuscany wine region, and covers the municipalities of Asciano, Rapolano, Murlo, Monteroni d'Arbia and part of Sovicille, located in the south of the province of Siena. Each wine that falls under the Grance Senesi DOC is a masterpiece, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Consorzio di Tutela Grance Senesi DOC. This consortium is a coalition of esteemed wine-producing companies, each committed to crafting wines that are not only delightful but are also reflective of the Tuscan identity and elegance. Through their unwavering dedication, the consortium ensures that every bottle produced under the Grance Senesi DOC is a true embodiment of the region's rich tradition, captivating history, and the enchanting natural landscape. These wines, curated for connoisseurs with discerning tastes, stand testament to a legacy of quality and the unparalleled beauty of Tuscany.
Temperatures do not tend to reach extremes. Generally, they remain between 12.5°C and 15°C, while annual rainfall varies between 600 and 850 mm.
The vines are usually grown on soils with a predominance of sand, which are well drained. Moreover, the depth of the soils for wine growing varies between 0.5 m and 1 m.

Bianco, a symphony of flavors, weaves a minimum 60% of Trebbiano and/or Malvasia with a harmonious blend of other authorized white grapes. This white wine dances on the palate, showcasing a delicate balance of orchard fruits and floral notes. Bianco captures the essence of the land, a testament to the artistry of winemaking in this captivating region.
Rosso, the heart of the collection, reverberates with a minimum 60% Sangiovese, enriched by the presence of other authorized red grapes. Passito, a treasure of indulgence, blends a minimum 60% Trebbiano and/or Malvasia with a mosaic of other authorized white grapes.
