The Delia Nivolelli DOC production area covers the territories of Mazara del Vallo, Marsala, Petrosino and Salemi, all located within the municipality of Trapani.
This DOC has a Mediterranean climate, with warm summers and cool winters that are not usually cold. In addition, it has about 582 mm of annual rainfall.
The soils tend to have an intermediate texture and do not have a large amount of relief. This favors the production of more balanced wines.

In the charming Delia Nivolellia DOC, two extraordinary wines shine brightly – the red and white wines, each crafted from a minimum of 65% of their signature grape varieties.
For the red wines, a captivating blend takes center stage, showcasing the harmonious fusion of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Nero d’Avola (also known as Calabrese), Perricone (locally called Pignatello), Sangiovese, and/or Syrah. These noble grape varieties combine their unique characteristics to produce a wine of exceptional depth and complexity. Other authorized red grapes further enrich the blend, elevating the wine's structure and aromatic profile. The result is a captivating red wine boasting flavors of dark berries, spices, and subtle earthy notes, with a velvety texture and balanced tannins that linger gracefully on the palate.
In contrast, the Delia Nivolellia DOC's white wines enchant with their own symphony of flavors, featuring a minimum blend of Ansonica (known locally as Inzolia), Grecanico, and/or Grillo grape varieties.
