Due to its proximity to mountainous areas, these geological formations strongly influence this region's climate. For this reason, it does not receive as much rainfall as other regions.
The vineyards in the region are located mainly on soils composed of gravel and with a slope that allows them to receive enough sun for the grapes to ripen.
