The Coste della Sesia DOC, located in the Piedmont wine region, covers the municipalities of Gattinara, Roasio, Lozzolo and Serravalle Sesia in the province of Vercelli and 13 municipalities in the province of Biella. In this DOC, the Consorzio Valsesia as well as the Consorzio di Tutela Nebbioli Alto Piemonte are key to maintain the high quality standards of the wines crafted by the producers of the region.
In this region, winters are cold, and the coldest month is January, with 0.4°C (0.4°F). On the other hand, summers are usually hot, reaching a maximum of 23°C during July. Precipitation is more frequent during spring and autumn.
