Consorzio di Tutela Vino Bardolino DOC

The Consorzio Bardolino was created in 1969, one year after the official constitution of the Bardolino DOC. Since its creation, the Consorzio has carried out various actions together with the producers, not only to raise the quality of the wines under the DOC Bardolino but also to defend the interests of the producers. The results are clear: currently 92% of the producers are part of the Consorzio Bardolino.

Perhaps one of the most interesting initiatives taken by the Consorzio, with the support of all the associated producers, was that from 2011 all Bardolino wines will carry a label on the neck of the bottle that will allow the consumer to be sure that the wine is not a counterfeit.

Another of the actions carried out by the Consorzio is the Grape and Wine Festival in the Cellar, where for a weekend consumers can visit all the wineries in the region, meet the people behind each wine and enjoy exclusive tastings.
