La Dive Bouteille was created in 1999, starting as a small gathering of about ten winegrowers in the cellar of Catherine and Pierre Breton. Over the years, the event has grown considerably, from around 40 producers in its early days to more than 230 winemakers from France and beyond today.

Location and Date

The fair is usually held on the first weekend of February, over two days (Sunday and Monday). Currently, it takes place in the Ackerman Caves in Saumur, a century-old troglodyte site offering a unique and atmospheric setting.
