Karakterre

The Karakterre wine event will be held on November 4th at the Rockefeller Center in New York. Known as one of the world's premier wine festivals, Karakterre showcases organic, biodynamic, and natural wines from Central and Eastern Europe. Originating in 2011 as a modest gathering of winemakers on a promotional tour in Zagreb and Ljubljana, Karakterre relocated to Vienna in 2014 due to its growing prominence. Since then, the event has continued to expand, hosting annual gatherings at various locations. Today, Karakterre is supported by a community of over 200 winemakers committed to organic, biodynamic, and natural practices. The festival attracts more than 12,000 professionals and enthusiasts globally, serving as a leading reference for sustainable wines and drawing top importers, distributors, and wine lovers from around the world
